Zone de Texte: When smoke is put into the EVAP system (Canister Close Valve is closed) there should NOT be any smoke exiting the Canister Close Valve. This test procedure doesn’t test from the Purge Valve back to the engine.

Zone de Texte:      Disconnect the hose between the Purge Valve and Charcoal Canister, at or as close as you can to the Purge Valve. Insert the EVAP tester supply line into the hose that is going to the Charcoal Canister.           Close “Canister Close Valve” and continue testing the system.
